We have seen quite a lot of strange (to not say fraudulent) information on the Internet about strength in the Wi-Fi world. Some people add the power of their Wi-Fi device to the dBi of their antenna to create a combined power ratio that is misleading to their buyers! This conversion ratio (called EIRP) does not reflect reality and should not be considered when selecting a good antenna for your needs.
